This privacy policy applies only to the reWorked mobile app. For our website, see the website privacy policy.
The short version. reWorked works on your phone without an account. If you create one, we store your projects so they sync, and we show other members only what you choose to share. We don't run ads, we don't use analytics or tracking tools, we don't track you across other apps, and we never sell your data. AI features only run after you agree to them. You can delete your account and its data from inside the app at any time.
Who we are
reWorked is made by Snowbelt Labs ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the reWorked app collects, how and why, who it's shared with, how long it's kept, and how you can withdraw consent or delete it. Questions? Email privacy@snowbeltlabs.com.
What we collect and how
Without an account (on-device only)
Everything you enter, including projects, steps, materials and costs, photos, receipts, goals and settings, is saved only on your device. It never reaches us.

We use your data only for the purposes listed above. We won't use it for anything else without asking you first.
What we don't collect
- No advertising identifiers, ad networks, analytics tools or tracking. We don't track you across other companies' apps or websites.
- No location, contacts, microphone or audio recording.
- No payment information. reWorked has no in-app purchases.
- We only access photos you pick yourself. reWorked doesn't scan or upload your photo library.
What other members can see
If you have an account, other signed-in members can see your profile, any projects you post to the community (including before and after photos, costs, sale price, profit and steps), your follower and like counts, and your inspiration board unless you make it private. Your workshop, unposted projects, goals and settings are visible only to you. Don't post anything you wouldn't want other members to see.
AI features (third-party AI)
Some features, such as the listing writer, use AI provided by Anthropic, a third-party AI company. Before you use an AI feature for the first time, reWorked asks for your permission. Nothing is sent to Anthropic unless you agree.
- What's sent: only the details for that request, such as the item's name, category, the work done and its condition. We don't send your photos, email address, profile or other projects.
- How: requests go through our server, so Anthropic doesn't receive your account details. Anthropic processes requests in the United States.
- How Anthropic handles it: under Anthropic's commercial terms, it doesn't use this data to train its models, and it keeps it only for a limited time for safety and abuse monitoring.
- Your choice: AI features are optional. You can withdraw permission at any time by not using them or by emailing us.
Notifications
If you turn on reminders, reWorked schedules check-in and deadline notifications on your device. Nothing about them is sent to us. They're never used for advertising. You can turn them off in the app or in your phone's settings, and the app works without them.
Where data is stored and how it's protected
- Account data, synced projects and uploaded images are stored with Supabase, our database and storage provider, in the United States (US East, Virginia).
- Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Every database table uses row-level security, so your private data can only be read by your account.
- Your sign-in session is stored encrypted on your device, with the key held in the iOS Keychain or Android Keystore.
- Signing out removes your account's cached data from the device.
Who we share data with
We share data only with the service providers below, and only so they can run reWorked for us:

Equal protection. Each provider we share data with is bound by contract and its data protection terms to protect your data in the same or equal way as this policy describes. Each may use the data only to provide its service to us. We have no parent companies, subsidiaries or other related companies with access to your data.
We don't sell or rent personal information, share it for advertising, or use it to build profiles about you. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our users.
How long we keep data
- Account data: kept for as long as you have an account.
- When you delete your account: your account, profile, projects, posts, likes, follows, inspiration items, goals, settings, and the photos and receipts you uploaded are deleted immediately. Our providers may keep encrypted backups for a limited period before they're overwritten.
- Sign-in attempt counters: deleted after 1 day.
- Emails and reports you send us: kept only as long as we need them to help you or resolve the issue.
Withdrawing consent and deleting your data
- Delete your account and data: in reWorked, open your Profile, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account. Can't get into the app? Email privacy@snowbeltlabs.com from your account's email address and we'll delete it for you.
- Withdraw consent for AI: stop using AI features, or email us.
- Withdraw permissions: you can turn off camera, photo and notification access at any time in your phone's settings. The rest of the app keeps working.
- Stop sharing with the community: delete a post, make your inspiration board private, or delete your account.
- Use without an account: you can keep using reWorked on your device only.
- Access, correct or get a copy of your data: most of it can be viewed and edited in the app. For anything else, email privacy@snowbeltlabs.com.
Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK, Canada or California), you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete or port your data, or to object to how it's used. Email us and we'll respond within 30 days. We won't treat you differently for exercising your rights.
Children
reWorked is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your data, we'll update this page and its date and tell you in the app. We'll ask for your permission again before using data in a new way.
