Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Snowbelt Labs ("we", "us") about your use of the Gentlebloom app. By using Gentlebloom, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. Our privacy policy explains how the app handles your data.
Using Gentlebloom
Gentlebloom is free, with no in-app purchases, subscriptions or ads. Please use it lawfully, and don't try to interfere with the app, reverse engineer it or copy its content, except where the law allows.
Not medical or mental health care
Gentlebloom is a self-care habit tool for encouragement and reflection. It isn't therapy, counseling, medical care or financial advice, and it isn't a substitute for a qualified professional. Quotes about health, wealth, faith and rest are general encouragement, not advice for your situation. If you're struggling, please talk to someone you trust or a professional. In an emergency, contact your local emergency number. In the US, you can call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).
Your content
What you write in Gentlebloom is yours. It stays on your iPhone, and we never receive it. You're responsible for keeping your device and its backups secure.
Our app
Gentlebloom, its design, code, plants, illustrations, sounds, quotes we wrote and branding belong to Snowbelt Labs. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app under these terms and the terms of the App Store.
Disclaimers & liability
Gentlebloom is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that reminders will always be delivered, or that data stored on your device will never be lost. To the extent the law allows, Snowbelt Labs is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the app, or for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the past 12 months (if any). Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Tennessee, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it somewhere else.
Ending your use
You can stop using Gentlebloom at any time. Erase your data in Settings → Delete account, or delete the app. We may update, change or stop offering the app.
App Store terms
Gentlebloom is downloaded from the Apple App Store, so Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its support.
Changes
We may update these terms. If changes are material, we'll update the date above. Continuing to use Gentlebloom means you accept the updated terms.
