These terms apply only to the CurbSweep app. See also the CurbSweep privacy policy.
Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Snowbelt Labs ("we", "us") about your use of the CurbSweep app. By using CurbSweep, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. Our privacy policy explains how the app handles your data.
Using CurbSweep
CurbSweep is free, with no accounts, in-app purchases, subscriptions or ads. Please use it lawfully, and don't try to interfere with the app or the map services it uses, reverse engineer it, or use it to bulk-download map data, except where the law allows.
Your safety
CurbSweep is a game that encourages walking. You're responsible for your own safety. Stay aware of traffic and your surroundings, follow traffic laws and local rules, don't look at your phone while crossing streets, and don't enter private property, closed roads or unsafe areas to complete a street or sector. Check with a doctor before starting a new exercise routine if you have health concerns. CurbSweep doesn't provide medical, fitness or navigation advice.
Map data
Street and map data comes from OpenStreetMap contributors and is available under the Open Database License. It may be incomplete, out of date or include roads that are private, closed or unsafe for walking. Distances, completion percentages and GPS positions are estimates.
Our app
CurbSweep, its design, code, medals, quotes we wrote and branding belong to Snowbelt Labs. Map data belongs to OpenStreetMap contributors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app under these terms and the terms of the App Store.
Disclaimers & liability
CurbSweep is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that map services will always be available, or that data stored on your device will never be lost. To the extent the law allows, Snowbelt Labs is not liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from walking or from your use of the app, or for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the past 12 months (if any). Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Tennessee, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it somewhere else.
Ending your use
You can stop using CurbSweep at any time. Erase your progress in Settings → Start over → Reset all progress, or delete the app. We may update, change or stop offering the app.
App Store terms
CurbSweep is downloaded from the Apple App Store, so Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its support.
Changes
We may update these terms. If changes are material, we'll update the date above. Continuing to use CurbSweep means you accept the updated terms.
